  Sustainable Growth Rate Saga: Doc-Fix Appears Doomed 

With eleven days from the end of the year, the outcome of Congress's traditional "doc-fix"remains uncertain, and the looming 27.4 percent reimbursement cut seems inevitable. With the Senate and House on the cusp of holiday recess, as well as the House's vote to re-open negotiations, effectively rejecting on the Senate version of the "doc-fix" bill, Congress will likely be unable to delay the physician Medicare reimbursement cuts required by the Sustainable Growth Rate.  HCC President, Robert James Cimasi, was been elevated to a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), on December 15, 2011. RICS provides impartial, expert advice on key issues affecting the public, businesses, governments, and policy makers. Members operate in over 146 countries worldwide, offering strategic guidance on the economics, valuation, law, technology, finance, and management of physical assets.
